Can we stop the negative comparison, we just got an incredible color corrector for $995. In fact it is an industry leading color corrector which has been and still being used for major music videos, commercials, television and a number of feature films, embrace it and let’s make it better. Stop dogging it.

    Thank you,
    Gareth

I completely agree with you…all these snipings are so unproductive. If you don’t like it, leave it alone coz many other people love it.

I gotta tell you, this whole argument is absolutely ridiculous, Resolve is a dream come true, it’s funny that since now is $995 people compare it with Color, but honestly, not even Scratch is as good as Resolve is, and Scratch is around $50K.
I just want to get up to speed to delete Color from my system.

Well, it will take a while until I am as quick , creative and effective as i am on my Scratch system, but I keep an open mind , even without 6 vectors and all the other goodies i am used too.

Both systems have their good and bad points. And most professionals have more then a few tools in their kit bag! Right tool for the right job. Color does somethings fast and dirty.. Resolve does great tracking and keying. Nuke does compositing and such. Hell maybe using AE’s roto brush to make mattes for resolve will be fun. Point is nothing wrong with using many tools to get the job done. In the end it makes your job easier and less tedious.

I think most people are just mentioning a workflow or comfort level issue. That’s where I’m at.
    It’s a struggle, but we’ll get there! 😉

even without 6 vectors and all the other goodies

Sascha the 6 vectors are there along with the qualifiers and if you keep looking you will find the other goodies.
