Totally agree brian, frame sequences are by far the safest investment in render time.

Paul Everetts.. Matrix Bullet time effect (a coffee script) works brilliantly even with pyrocluster.

Don’t know about C4D but I did this with apples’s Livetype and Motion recently, pretty easily.

Thanks Brian. I do have thinking particles but discovered a plugin from Paul Everett that does just what I want.

I’ve not tried it with pyro yet.

aa was set to geometry but setting it to best doesn’t make any difference.

I’ll try the ‘background only’ project as soon as I get a chance.

Dont know the answer to your question Postman, but I start all my project from an empty but organised template set up with all the bins and structure. I’m pretty new to FCP but this has worked well for me.
