I was just curious… Is it possible to create a script that would, after starting a final cut project, create, inside the project bin, folders with specific names like raw video, audio, graphics, sequences, etc? I found a script that would do this outside of the application, but that’s not what I’m looking for. I was wondering if it could be done so 1) I could eliminate some repitition and 2) to keep things organized.

    Thanks for any responses…. postman

PS I have searched the archives with no luck…. I will continue searching.

Dont know the answer to your question Postman, but I start all my project from an empty but organised template set up with all the bins and structure. I’m pretty new to FCP but this has worked well for me.

Thanks for the reply….That sounds like the best and easiest solution… wished I had thought about it.
