using bitmap background
Hi guys,
I’m trying to do a simple animation (deformed arrows running along a spline) and composite this over a previously rendered C4D frame.
The problem is that however I seem to set up the background image, the resulting renders display soft backgrounds.
I’ve tried using a background object in a camera viewport, setting the required bitmap to the colour channel of a new material (sampling=none in it’s parameters)and applying the material to the bg object. results are soft.
Setting a background image to one of the orthogonal viewports also results in similar softness. Is it not possible to set a similar bg image to a camera viewport?
My output is for D1 720×576 (1.07 par) and the background image was rendered the same way.
Am I missing something obvious here or do I really need to composite this simple animation in AE?
Thanks for any help
Alan
