remember, esp if doing a rough cut in vegas, just export an AAF file, which AE will read without problem, so you only have to render FROM AE to Vegas

am sure I’ve read of peeps recording MANY tracks at once in Vegas, live……..
will dig around, but prob someone with the experience will beat me to it

not that it’s a great help, and you prob know it anyway, but will say that when you highlight a clip on the timeline (I/O points), then right-click to edit in trimmer, that same highlight is current in the trimmer…

is more like LiveType than anything else. No 3D or morphing etc.
just look on youtube for ProTitler – you’ll find loads of examples and a few tutorials.

go to your system properties, and make Vegas excluded from DEP (Data Execution Prevention)
might be the issue….

have same situ of MP4 inside .AVI, from a helmet cam recording to SD card, and converted them last time using Super IIRC. Just picked more footage from client this weekend, and have to dig up previous workflow. I definitely didn’t use anything expensive last time.
btw, the clips play best inside DivX player – haven’t tried the DivX converter since haven’t got the Pro version, but it’s also a possibility…….

common problem
think you can drag the edge down, IIRC – not had the problem meself, but know for sure there’s a solution to it.

and if you have the cash, you can buy the Excalibur plugin for vegas, which does a good job in a couple of clicks

you child the still and video tracks to another (empty track)
then, adjust the zoom/pan using track motion at the EXTREME left of the parent track – not the normal track motion button.
easy peasy

I just went ahead and installed it. Can’t remember any problems relating to being 32bit…….
