I have been using Vegas Pro 8.0 for a while, and I have no idea where this problem has come from.

I wanted to animate a simple noise today, only to find that when I click “Edit Generated Media”, the animation box (keyframes, timeline, etc) is not in the window (Video Media Generators) that comes up. Only the offset, frequency, etc, show up.

Am I making some simple mistake? I wouldn’t be surprised, but I know for a fact it has been there before in this very same version/computer.

PS. Doesn’t show up for effects either. What is going on?!

    common problem

think you can drag the edge down, IIRC – not had the problem meself, but know for sure there’s a solution to it.

Bring your mouse to the bottom edge until the cursor becomes two horizontal bars with an arrow pointing up and an arrow pointing down (as opposed to just a double arrow pointing up and down). Then click and drag UP to reveal the keyframe controller.
