It turns out it’s the AJA conflict. I believe it’s now fixed.

I believe that is the problem. I need to start the entire process again and make sure everything is set properly at the start. I realized once I opened it in Combustion. Thanks for the help.

I shot with panelites recently. we used them for fill. they are really nice lights. we mixed them with kinos and hmi’s and the gaffer did a great job balancing them all. we were shooting with an XLH1 hdv 30i. the footage was really quite nice. it was finished in FCP captured as uncompressed 10bit SD. the agency was very curious about how we achieved such a soft feel with video.

i rendered it and messed with all types of filters. i finally just exported it to Combustion, rotated it and reimported it. it’s perfect that way, but very cumbersome.

Happy it’s working for you. I spent a few days with AJA support as well and we never resolved the issue. In my case I believe that the digi 002r was the problem. But since that’s where I want my audio to end up, the f/w solution is fine for me. i will be watching this to see if there is a real solution though.
