XDCAM Transfer 2.1 is out (for XDCAM or XDCAM EX with Final Cut Pro)
Sony have revealed XDCAM Transfer 2.1 on http://www.sonybiz.net following closely on the heels of Apple shipping FCP 6.0.2.
This new version has full support for existing XDCAM products (Professional Disc) and the new XDCAM drive and XDCAM EX camcorder (SxS PRO).
According to the system requirements, FCP 6.0.2 and OS X 10.4.11 are needed to use either the new EX camcorder or the PDW-U1 drive.

I can not find this update. All I am finding on the website is PDZK-P1 1.1 or Flip4Mac 2.1.(which you have to buy) I had to download 2.0 from Sony’s FTP site and 2.1 is not there either. Can you give a more exact site link. Thanks

has anyone found the plug-in that is also referenced in the final cut release notes?

xdcam transfer 2.13 is out! it’s not online yet but I called sony and a nice rep emailed me a link to download it!
