Kelly – are you still using the splitter for powering the cards? I just received tohe quadro 4000 and have the ati 5870 in a mid 2010 pro as well. any problems? thanks

I just went therough the same thing. Nikon formatted CF cards wouldn’t re-format in KiPro mini. I formatted them in Disk Utility using Mac OS extended. (not journaled) They work fine now.

I now have 1080i output over sdi and component. it’s not exactly smooth and it reqires a restart of the system.

Thanks Martin. Even that doesn’t work. I’ve reinstalled the drivers 2X with same results. I suppose eventually it will work. Until then, Media Composer and Final cut 7.

I installed it. I still get 720X486 output as the only option within FCPX under playback. Set to 1080i in system prefs. Works fine in MC6.0.1

Am I missing something?

I import 720p 60 into fcp x from a camera archive. You can work with it as h.264 or optimize to pro res on import.

it’s Gh2 and af100 footage.

The weirdness is 60p footage exported from FCP 7 as a pro res QT and conformed to 24fps in cinema tools plays slomo in the FCP X event browser but drop it on a 24fps storyline and it plays normal spped.

It’s broken. I just went through this with support and there is a driver problem. A fix is forthcoming but there is no timeframe.
