Vegas 19 is more stable than version 18. This line you mentioned is where your stability issues lies ” (I am using very powerful hardware (CPU/GPU, plenty of RAM, SSD drives, etc.)……. Vegas doesn’t often sit well with hardware based over powered systems, too much hardware and driver variables…. Personally i hardly ever have stability issues with it, because using Vegas for over 16 years, i have come to understand that it performs best on a moderately built system with a good dose of CPU Processing power. Once you start loading it up with the latest GPU, Hardware, Latest drivers etc etc. that’s where things start falling apart…. Invest into CPU processing when it comes unto Vegas Pro instead.

You would be amazed at how basic and minimal my editing system is, and is what i use to crank out daily cutting edge TV and Network commercials, Broadcast content and the works. This is a very fast paced industry and Vegas delivers on time and in loads.
