Something is wrong with a particular video/Videos you have on the timeline in this Vegas project file!

  • Sorry, i do not know of any service to disable to make things better this time around. Windows 11 is a whole new can of worms that personally i have no intention of ever touching anytime soon….. Although Vegas 19 works on it, and some users have no issues, it’s not officially supported on Windows 11 as yet.

You can however try updating your graphics driver or toggle with the DPI settings under the “Display” tab in “Preferences” to see if anything helps.

We are not seeing any screenshots. And gathering from what you described, seems you are going about the settings a bit wrong.

ok, when that happens, what i would recommend you to do is hunt thru your installation/system folders and remove all files ASIO related or even go into your registry and remove everything ASIO there also (removing from the registry is not hard, you just type in what you are searching for, and it shows you)…. then you should be good to go!

You need to completely uninstall all traces of the ASIO Driver off your computer.

Well, i’m not here to persuade or convince any of you to continue using Vegas pro. I share my problem free experiences using Vegas Pro because a question was asked regarding. I’ve never had an issue with version 17, 18 or 19, they are all rock solid on my systems.

Mostly when all these issues pops up using Vegas, it’s usually an indication that it is conflicting with something installed on your system etc, or something you are dropping on the timeline!

    Happy Editing !

Do you mean you moved the hard drive to another partition, or you copied the project folder to your desktop? Either way the problem is not with Vegas, but with you having somewhat relocated the contents of the project where Vegas is having a hard time locating what it needs to load it up, and that is what is throwing this error.

Try making sure that the ext. drive is using the exact same partition it was using on your laptop when all was working well.
