Yes you can. At the bottom of the timeline you will see an icon that says ” Lock Envelopes to Events” when you enable this, the nodes will move with your events along the timeline maintaining their original positions.

  • Take a serious look at Voukoder. It is what i use now for all my rendering output to clients, media houses, Broadcast Stations etc…. (And it’s free). No need to fiddle with much settings or confusing options.

If you are using the Vegas built in Chroma Key filter, it somewhat has some limitations!

But in the meantime, why don’t you just simply put a solid white background behind that individual after keying!

However, for serious Chroma key work, its advisable to invest in purchasing a more powerful option, which would be FXHome Ignite Pro or Borisfx Continuum Primatte Studio, they both include industry standard Keying features.

Doug Ray, if you are a serious editor/media creator who makes a living from your craft. My advise to you is to “permanently stop getting all updates“… Trust me on that one!

Why that is happening is because you have “Auto ripple” enabled. Look at the far bottom of the timeline where the icons are located, there you will see the icon, just disable it…… Also there, you will see the “Grouping” icon to group or ungroup as you need.

Luigi Perrotta, Who told you that?

Of course you can do that easily same way in Vegas Pro 18. The feature is just located in a different location…. Go to the “Project Media” tab, then beside “Import Media” there is a small drop down arrow, click on that and you will see “Import DVD Camcorder Disc” and there you go!

No, you should not be having any crashing issues with a system such as that, and i can certainly tell you that it’s the drivers currently installed on your system that is causing you this constant crashing issue.

Try using the Vegas built in driver download utility, to download the best driver for your system and see first if that helps!….. And don’t max out your dynamic RAM, keep it at default.

Sean Michael, Check your system specs etc. Version 18 is much improved in so many ways, Vast improvements since version 13… However you gonna run into issues like what you are mentioning if your system is not up to the required specs or having conflicts from other drivers/software etc.
