Vegas Post Purchase or Subscription
Hello all,
Just asking for opinions. I own a license version of Vegas Post 18 and I also own a license version of Boris Continuum 2020. Most of my editing is vacations Family events Air, and Car shows. I have done a lot family stuff which use FX so I working on learning Vegas Effects. I have a couple of questions. I know the final dissension is up to me but I would like to here from others. Is it worth getting the subscription or just purchase? The price is lower than the Adobe plan, but the reason I left Adobe products because it was over five hundred a year. Just to be clear the upgrade will be going from Vegas Post 18 to 19.

Do you want to use any of the features that require the subscription?
Do you want to be able to continue using it 2 years from now without continuing to pay a subscription?

The upgrade for me from VP18 Pro to VP19 Edit was only $119. That gets you VP19 Pro with no plug-in add-ons. I already own BCC 2020.5 and other NewBlue FX so that was all I needed. I say make the purchase.

I wish I had made the upgrade to 19 instead of the 365 subscription!
I have done work at home for 15 years using Vegas. Now I am required to purchase a second license to activate my second computer. That a big price for text-to-speech and content downloads.
