It can be quite sensitive as to where you place the cursor, sometimes you only get the value, but aslight move will show the smooth option.

On a similar subject, I have rushes from P2 which I want output to tape with original TC. Neither of these filters seem to do it, only the sequence code is output. Any thoughts?

We may be talking about the same thing but I use the motion area, right click on the KF and choose ‘smooth’. This gives acceleration in and deceleation out, works well for me.

Should be OK, just use a ball point pen, hold it in the HDD hole until the lights start to flash, then press start.

Thanks for your reply. I had checked those posts earlier. Permissions are ok. Decided to take the hit and loose about 2 hours work by opening an older vault file.

    Thanks again.

Let your DVD do the letterbox when you author. Just set your track display to 16:9 letterbox and provided the end user’s DVD player is correctly set they will have a letterbox on their 4:3 screen. If they have widescreen TV then no problem.

[gary adcock] “you have the same options to keep the existing name or rename on the mac also, as I’ve been doing it for months with my HVX200s. “
Sorry your right on the G4 Powerbook with card, but that does not help with the P2 store in the field, when you need to format the card. If there was time you could delete clips in camera to preserve the card name.
