! Not Found and ! Out of Memory
I am running FCP 5.1 and Quicktime 7.04. I have been working on a sequence which now will not load I just get the above 2 messages in that order.
I regularly “saved All” during the work.
I have gone to the Autosave Vault only to find multiple folders all referring to the project, instead of just one. All of the saves back to when I started the work today come up as above.
I’ve trashed prefs with FCP Rescue etc, re-started.,……. nothing
Any sugestions, other than going back to Avid, greatfully received.

We often see this error on corrupt files and files to which you really don’t have access. This could be a total disaster for you for an easily fixed user account management situation. those files may have had their read privileges changed so check those in Get Info.

Thanks for your reply. I had checked those posts earlier. Permissions are ok. Decided to take the hit and loose about 2 hours work by opening an older vault file.
