FCP will handle it but not without consequences
24 in a 30 timeline-fcp will double 6 frames every second.
30 in 24 timeline- fcp will remove 6 frames . -
Log and transfer needs the exact folder structure on the 5d card. If you dont? Build it yourself and put the files in there.
Or you could use streamclip, compressor etc

They dont show Mb/s in FCP.
They show MB , Megabytes/s
Thats the correct datarate of a 50 Mb clip.

Open you ProRes 1080p file in compressor
Choose Dvd high quality
Edit preset-) resize filter set to best
Burn in DVDStudio Pro

Your source is 2k?
I wouldn just use the standard dvd compressor presets when you’re doing downscaling to standard def DVD like this.
Resize filter set to best will help a lot!!
Use those dvd presets and edit the frame controls. -
