what were settings. There could be no audio on the clips, if the FS-100 is set to VFR, I’m pretty sure no audio is recorded.
if you play the clip in QT Player do you see any audio meters jumping.

First have you even tried to play back any of these clips, I have a FS-100 and FCP (or QT Player) will not playback material recorded in Raw DV, but that maybe because the camera is outputting DVCPro50 or HD.
But if the clips play fine there is a semi=painless way of merging the clips. If you have not started and stopped throughout the game…
Do this for a single camera at a time. Bring all the clips into the BIn of FCP (sort by name). Select all the clip and drag to the timeline (make sure your seq. settings match your clip). If you don’t care about preserving the TC on the clips Export this seq “With QuickTime” make the movie self-contained. Work with these new clips.
If you need to preserve the clips TC or if there are gaps in the recording (Stopping and starting throughout a single game). Drag the first clips to the timeline and adjust the seq’s TC to start on the same TC as the first clip. Then bring down all the other clips, if there is a gap just move the next starting clip to matching TC in the seq, this will leave a gap where the camera was stopped but all the clips should line up when they are all done.
There is no way around these small clips on a Firestore, drives are formatted as FAT32 which have a 2 GB limit. Your problem only comes into play when you are trying to do a mutlicam edit like yourself.

Raylight has a slightly more expensive decoder for DVCProHD for windows, but it also has an encoder also. These would be worth it if you needed to do this a lot to save transcoding time.

The camera’s setting is 1080i 24pA. I use it all the time, just shot over 20 hours of interviews with that setting.
In Log and Transfer’s pref you need Remove > Duplicate or Advanced Pulldown checked and then the footage is 1080p @ 23.98 fps.
What are all of your camera settings?

Your problem is this cannot be done. The firestore is not a Deck and you cannot hook up the camera to FS to COmputer at the same time.
The FS-100 is a hard drive and when you are done shooting you then hook it up to the computer (after discounting it from the camera) and then you have to go into the DD Drive selection on the HDD MODE screen. Then your computer sees it as a normal Hard Drive. If you shot in P2 mode you use log and transfer to get the files into FCP, if you shot in QT mode you copy the files to another hard drive just import the files into FCP bin.
The FS-100 requires specific settings on the camera and FS, I highly recommend you read the manual very carefully and go to the FAQ and read all of those before using this device.

When you do to tape on the HVX it can only be DV (DV25).
So what is your problem?
