Problems capturing, Can I down sample to DV?
I’m having problems capturing a DV tape I shot on the HVX to Final Cut. I think that I shot it at DVC Pro 50i (sorry for being vague but the camera is new and my first semi-pro camera) I’m told that I can down sample the footage I shot to DV.
Is this true and if so how do I do it?

When you do to tape on the HVX it can only be DV (DV25).
So what is your problem?

Sorry it’s all new to me, still trying to absorb information. I set the settings to DV48k and that seemed to solve my capture problems.
