We use mediamax.com to host all our video files.

What’s nice about it is you can send your clients an email link which they just click on to download a particular clip – or you can give them passwords, etc to access your entire media online library via the net.

Easier/cheaper way:

1. Place Custom Gradient on top of your clip
found in >Effects>render>Custom Gradient

2. Right/Ctrl click > Composite Mode > Overlay

3. Double-click on the gradient and adjust to taste.

Enjoy.
