June 23, 2006 at 11:39 pmSure, but you’ll have to render whatever doesn’t match your Sequence. Edit in DV, you’ll need to render the HD. Edit in HD, you’ll need to render the DV.
You can purchase an AJA Kona 3 and convert your DV to HD or HD to DV so everything will match.

Thank you for this information. Have you ever converted DV to HD and if so how does it look in terms of quality compared to something actually shot in dv?thanks again

Depends on how well the footage was shot and if it was shot anamorphically. I get pretty good results on my Kona 3 and if I need something more, I go to a terranex shop.
