    Hi,

The Film Festival want 5 stills from my film at the following specs:
    300 dpi
    18cm/7″ wide
    Color eps or jpeg

Can anyone suggest the best workflow?
I’m using the NTSC DV codec, so will I also have to interlace? How should I best do that?

    Thanks in advance,

    Wayne

Export from FCP as the default PNG file. It will be 720×480 at 72DPI. Take it into Photoshop and deinterlace it and increase the dimensions to what they require.

Won’t look pretty though. DV stills tend to look mushy.

Export the image as instructed in the earlier post, then import
into Genuine Fractals for resolution bump up for print.
