This is correct. The audio output will still work even nothing is plugged into the HDMI output port.

Hi Bruce,

When you mention graphics, are they generated from a plugin for stills on top of the video layer with alpha?

I’ve not come across this issue so it will be good to find out more information. For example, what kind of timeline is it? 10-bit PAL? 8-bit 1080i60?

Unfortunately, there is no center cut function.

I’m not sware of any pre-exisiting issues with what you’re doing so could you please contact our support team at support[at]blackmagic-design.com? Make sure you include the crash log from Final Cut Pro in your email to them.

Hi Will,

Are you connecting the output of the Multibridge Pro to an SD only monitor? The Extended Desktop feature will (by default) use the highest resolution Multibridge Pro supports which your monitor might not support, hence the out of sync symptom. To correct this, simply go into your Display preferences, click on the Gather Windows button which will bring the “Television” settings into your main computer window. This will allow you to toggle the output resolution of the Video Desktop.

However, you should not have to use the Video Desktop feature to preview your Photoshop comp. Simply use our Photoshop plugin which is installed by default. This option can be found in “File > Export > Blackmagic Image Export”.

Hi,

All current Multibridge models support 4:4:4 Dual Link using either 2 BNC cables OR 1 single BNC cable via 3 Gb/s SDI. This means that if you don’t need that many AES/EBU audio IOs, the Multibridge Pro will be sufficient for working with the HDCAM SR.

Hi,

The latest Mac Pros do not have assignable PCIe lanes. If you look at the motherboard, the number of PCIe lanes are already pre-assigned. This is why the Expansion Slot Utility will not run. Nothing to worry about.

We’ve been working hard on these new products and are very happy that they have been well received. We’ve also won several awards for them.
