Just got the Multibridge Pro. When the playhead is stopped in the timeline graphics and video are tearing, it’s not tight and crisp like you would think in an SD 8 bit timeline. As the video plays the graphics are perfect. I have all the RT settings set to the highest settings in the sequence.
I never had this problem with the Aurora Igniter..?

    Thanks,
    Bruce

    Hi Bruce,

When you mention graphics, are they generated from a plugin for stills on top of the video layer with alpha?

I’ve not come across this issue so it will be good to find out more information. For example, what kind of timeline is it? 10-bit PAL? 8-bit 1080i60?

    regards

I have an Apple 8bit SD timeline. Using LiveType or Boris Grafitti. Alpha over ntsc video.

it ‘s because you have check single field when paused in BMD preference. this mean that when the playhead is stopped you watch only one field in video out..

Thanks for the hint. In the Decklink system prefs there’s a checkbox that says: Remove field jitter when video is paused.
Kind of counter intuitive but unchecking that box made the graphics perfectly clear.

    Thanks,
    Bruce
