If this is a MBP with a PPC CPU then no.
You might need to check in the about if the OSX is 64bit.
CS5 and beyond will not work on an OS that is 32bit and must be 64bit.

Any alterations made in a Title is automatically saved to it. You would need to undo any alterations you have made then close it.
If you want to make a duplicate based on current title there is a short cut button for that. Which will make a new title you alter and it won’t affect the original one 🙂

It is possible that te clip hasn’t finished conforming yet. There is an indication of the conforming in the bottom right of the UI with a yellow bar.
At first the source didnt play the audio as the confining wad not finished yet. Once you added the clip to the timeline the conforming was done, then when you looked in the source again it worked because the conforming was done.

August 28, 2011 at 9:51 pm in reply to: Compatible codec to replace Cineform Aspect HD for Premiere Pro 1.5.1The likely reason you aren’t seeing the video in another application is to do with the version of the cineform codec not being supported. You might need to output another file from the version of PPro (with cineform installed) into a different codec like Quicktime Animation set to 80% and use that.

August 28, 2011 at 1:42 pm in reply to: can adobe premiere pro and final cut pro exist peacefully on same machine?Short Answer: Yes.
Long Answer: Yes you can.
Most Professional Freelance Editors will have FCP and PPro on the same Mac Based machine so there is nothing wrong with wanting both.

This can happen if there is an inconsistency in the sample rates of the project and the recorded audio.
ie: recording was done with 44.1K @ 24fps, but the project is 48K @ 25fps.
Please provide the frame and audio sample rate details of the video and it’s audio and the separate audio and the project.
Cheers,
