This audio restoration tool has a clipping repair function. (at least older versions did)

If your audio is not too bad this may help.

As far as the delay is concerned I would look for a free stereoizer VST plugin.

A lot of research about performance has been posed here. Search this forum for “Dynamic RAM” and read te larger posts.

Are you using filters or have an opacity change? Cropping, anything that would require intensive processing for every frame?

Try reducing your Dynamic RAM Preview max from 350MB to 32MB and render a short project.

Give us some more specs about your new machine.

In the meantime check your Dynamic RAM setting under options|video. Set this to a low number during rendering (32 or 64). Check the maximum threads setting too.

This all looks pretty good. If budget is a concern, I would go with a smaller SSD. All you have on it is System and Programs. One of mine at work is a 60GB it’s about 2/3 full. I would add 2x2TB drives for storage. Both my editing systems are rock solid. I use ASUS boards and video cards.
