    Hey John,

    1) Exit Vegas

    2) Go into your user profile C:\Users\*YOURUSERNAME*\AppData\Local\VEGAS Pro

    3) Rename “19.0” to “OLD19.0” (no quotes)

    4) Start Vegas

    Let me know…

More than likely it is your firewall. Is it a company computer? I had to get a rule made to allow 2 sites before I had access.

I wish I had made the upgrade to 19 instead of the 365 subscription!

I have done work at home for 15 years using Vegas. Now I am required to purchase a second license to activate my second computer. That a big price for text-to-speech and content downloads.

In the “internal” preferences, (hold shift while clicking on the options menu item) search for msAutoSaveInterval. The default is 300000, which is 300 seconds.

Be very careful in the Internal dialogue.

  • Sure you can.

Set up a project using a 16:9 template and add all you assets. On the ones that are 4:3 open the pan/crop window and with the cursor on the first frame, right click on the video and select “Match Output Aspect”.

Make sure this is the only keyframe or you will have unintended movement.

You might have turned on ‘Ignore Event Grouping (ctrl-shift-u) ‘ at the bottom of the screen.
Turn it off and see if that helps.
