    Hi Everyone,
For some reason when I open a new audio/video clip on the timeline in vegas 16 the clips are automatically not grouped – ie they slide freely unless both are highlighted. I’ve tried highlighting both tracks and clicking control + G (and shift G). I’ve tried highlighting both tracks then right clicking and going to “group” then “create new”. Nothing seems to join the tracks together. What am I missing?

You might have turned on ‘Ignore Event Grouping (ctrl-shift-u) ‘ at the bottom of the screen.
Turn it off and see if that helps.
