  • I found the answer!

I downloaded this script Copy Mask to Crop Center.cs from https://github.com/DustVoice/VEGAS-Scripts
and followed the instructions. It makes your moving object anchored on one part of the screen.

    Just what I needed.

    Thanks everyone.

  • I am using the builtin Bezier Masking whick tracks my subject just fine. Now I want to ‘anchor’ the mask and move the video so my subject stays in one place.

  • Yes, that was it. I changed both values back to FALSE and it is normal again. I just can’t figure out when or how that would have changed.

    Thanks, Aleksey

July 29, 2013 at 3:20 pm in reply to: PC rebuild

    David,

In my rendering computer, I have twin hexa-core Xeons, along with 48 GB of triple channel DDR3 (7-7-7-20) RAM. My video card is a 3GB GTX-580, which I don’t use because render using GPU always crashes, and besides with 24 hyper-threaded cores the CPU wins. My system drive is an SSD, my swap drive is an SSD, and my source is a 4TB stripped raid, my output is a 1TB single drive. All drives are SATA-III 6.0Gb/s.

Can you explain why I’m getting 22-26% processor usage when rendering with the Sony AVC codec?

I have researched over and over and rebuilt this system a few times. I don’t have a bottleneck and both CPU’s are water cooled and seldom go over 42C. I just don’t get it!

    Jeff
