I tried to reply yesterday but creative cow keeps deleting it or something.</p>
<p>I tried caching and reversing the animation, but what happens is that the crumpled up ball stays the same throughout the whole animation instead of unfolding. I will keep looking for solutions, but I appreciate your suggestion!</p>

It uses a plain effector underneath a segment of sphere in order to &#8216;bloom&#8217; the flower petals by rotating them outward along the x axis. When I set my rotation R . P value to -90 like the tutorial, it distorts the petals as it rotates rather than achieving a nice clean rotation. I can&#8217;t figure this&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;ve ensured scale is not checked off, and it does record other parameters but not scale.. Is this a known issue with R25?</p>

<p>Edited to add that manual keyframes for scale doesn&#8217;t work either&#8230; What craziness is this?</p>

I thought I would start with a bucky and try to modify it from hexagonal sides to triangles, but there appears to be no options to do that easily. A platonic would also work since they are triangular sides, but there aren&#8217;t enough sides to make it a dome. Is there a simple fix for this I&#8217;m not seeing?&hellip;</p>

Is this a known error? I came across somebody with this problem, but there was no solution. Wondering if anyone here knows how to fix this. </p>

<p>That was my mistake.  I see now that you said Model mode, but the tutorial I was following showed he was in polygon mode and had the outline. However, the true issue is that I was a dummy and thought he had an outline when in reality, he just had all his geometry highlighted and showing up orange. This was not a true outline at all, it was&hellip;</p>

But I did see your responses and meant to reply that yes, I was in polygon mode and highlighting the object but still didn&#8217;t have that outline. I ended up with all layers muted, and the preview window still showed the whole composition as if I hadn&#8217;t turned off any layers. I&#8217;m trying to insert one clip between 2 others, but the separate music layer beneath the video gets split when I insert. I only want to affect the video layer. How can I prevent this from happening?</p>

I want to be able to cut a video layer and then have the rest of the clips in my sequence move to fill the empty space so I do not have to adjust the other clips manually. Can anyone help me out with how to do that?</p>

I find it easier for some reason, than Premiere. However, since it&#8217;s not the industry practice, I am wondering if this is ok to do for professional video.
