Plane textured with alpha image has unwanted reflections
I textured a plane with an alpha channel video–I have the clip loaded into color, luminance and alpha channels of material. However, when rendered, the plane is reflecting the hdri environment. I tried a compositing tag and just checked off “seen by” for everything but the camera. I didn’t know whether that would do anything, but I don’t understand why there are reflections in the plane when there is no reflective properties in my material. Can anyone see what’s going on? Image may not make sense, but it’s just for the purpose of showing. As you can see, the plane should be transparent behind the subject–but it’s reflecting unwanted imagery.
