  • Why won’t voronoi fracture with rigid body dynamics bake into FBX?

I want to export an exploding sphere with collision dynamics to FBX and bring into Unity with the animation. I’m getting pretty stumped because at this point, I’ve tried every method of baking this type of effect that I can find tutorials for. Nothing seems to work, my model gets exported without the animation. I know there are different ways to do it depending on what type of animation it is, and my only thought is maybe it has to do with PLA since Unity has trouble with it (I’m told).

My question is, has anyone experienced the issue of voronoi and rigid body/collision dynamics not exporting out, and how do you recommend I solve it?

At this time, I don’t want to upload my file since it’s messy and I’ve been trying all kinds of things that are difficult to show. For starters, I tried everything in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wrmt5YU-cU

I’d greatly appreciate any insight or feedback on how to export my animation.

    Thanks!

I realized I had PLA checked on when baking the object, which was not right in this case. Now I’ve unchecked it and it did bake out

    Good to hear it’s rectified
