I agree, lynda.com is great for the price. However they offer ZERO tutorials on Motion 3.

The finder only sees 1.5TB. I tried using Cache Out X and no luck. I did a fresh install of my OS and apps back in September. I even tried using software that shows invisible files but couldn’t find anything out of the ordinary.
I’m going to try and clone my laptop to an external drive and reboot.

I have the same G5. Is it possible to upgrade to an ATI Radeon x1600? I looked at the specs and it says AGP. Could I be misreading the specs?

You could copy the clip then select past attributs on another clip.

What if the camera fails but you still have footage to capture?
What if you need to log and capture tapes but you also need to get some B-roll footage on a short time schedule? Which do you do first when instead, someone is log and capturing tapes while you get your extra footage?
One alternative is buying a very cheap DV camera from BestBuy and using that as a deck.
One other potential problem is that you limit yourself to Mini DV’s. With a full size deck, you get the extra option of DVCAM or DVDCPro.

If you have more than one mac you can setup a render farm with Compressor2. I haven’t upgraded yet, but others can fill you in on how to set it up.
