    1. No menus from Premiere
    2. No. Use Encore for that
    3. Check your disk settings under preferences.

My best suggestion is to throw it all away. It’ll never look anywhere acceptable, so why edit. Just play it as it is.

Assuming you are going to make a multi-camera shoot of a playback performance, I would suggest to use a simple photocamera flash to synchronize the different cameras, again assuming you do not have genlock capabilities. What also helps is that the date and time of the various cameras are properly matched prior to the recording. If you then use Scenalyzer to capture, it will automatically add the date and time of the recording to the filenames. This makes it a lot easier to identify shots and lipsynch those.

Even if tedious, you could also synchronize on the waveform, but it is not as accurate as a simple flash. Take all shots with a clear recording of the original sound that is being playbacked. The sound of the musicians is not very relevant and will be removevd anyway.

Did you get rid the Raptor card??? If not, that could be the cause of your problem(s).

Or capture with Scenalyzer, which adds date and time of the shot to the filename during capture.

Surcode is your only option AFAIK.

While in general some people were reasonably content with the RT.X100 / PP 1.5 combo, most reactions now with PP 2.0 are not so favourable. If you use 2.0, my advise is to forget about Matrox.

How does on-board OHCI strike you? It’s free and does not give you the headaches that Matrox gives you. If you don’t have on-board OHCI, get a $ 29-39 board.

    Forget about Matrox.
