shooting date for clips
Is is possible to identify the shooting date in premiere pro 2?
In Premiere, the clip only shows the frames. When I look at the clip in the bridge, it shows the date that the clip was captured. If I open Pinnacle Studio and look at the clip, it will show the actual shooting date. I obviously don’t want to have to have both programs open when I want to find the date of a clip.

There is a plugin called DV Date, which costs around $20. That plugin can tell you what the shooting date is.

Or capture with Scenalyzer, which adds date and time of the shot to the filename during capture.

I’ve read about DV Date. From what I have read does it not place the date right on the footage? I don’t want to actually have the date visible, but what to be able to identify it for titles and introductions etc.
$20 is not a lot, but it is irritating that a $1000.00 program needs a $20 plugin to do what the $50 pinnacle program does for free.
