    5.1 surround output

    hey guys – i’m new to mixing 5.1 in premiere pro 2 – i’ve got a mix, but how do i get it out to encore dvd 2.0 (without spending the $280 for the SurCode plugin). I output all kinds of 5.1 WAVs AVIs and MOVs but i can’t get encore to keep them in 5.1 on the final disc (if they import at all). ive also tried with sony dvd architect 3 which supposedly supports 5.1 AC-3 files (and of course premiere doesnt output those). does anyone know of a workaround?

    Surcode is your only option AFAIK.
