1. Check you have sufficient handles.
2. Do not de-interlace interlaced material. A filmic look can be achieved by shooting it, using the proper lighting, DOF, rack focus, dynamic range, etc. If you didn’t shoot it, you will never get the filmic look.
3. PAL is 25, not 24 fps. Secondly, NTSC is 720×480, PAL is 720×576. I suggest you use Procoder or similar to convert NTSC to PAL.
