Capture from Sony Handycam
Hi,
I am new to PP (and editing video) and can’t even get the program to import my files.
Can anyone tell me why I cannot capture the video from my Handycam HDD.
when I try to import the files (.mpg files) Premiere pro tells me that the file is not suported?

The trial does not support MPEG. Get the full version, and better yet, get a camera suited for editing.

Your’re not mentioning what version of Ppro and like Harm mentioned whether its a tryout version, if you are using a tryout version or a older version of Ppro try Premiere Elements
