I think I’d cheat. I’ve have a second set of lines, as thick as the icons. And have that serve as a Matte layer for the icons. Arrange all your icons at the intersection points, then as the lines grow, they will appear.

That’s quite an unusual request and if you have a vision for what you want, I imagine you will want a lot of control over the end result. You might be better posting a job https://jobs.creativecow.net/post-job-offer/ or using a service like FIVER

Not a clue, but I’d guess it’s about sensitivity. Just experimenting Pan Camera POI Tool seems to move a lot further and Pan Under Cursor Tool

I think we need screenshots, as I cannot picture what this black ring is. Have you set your comp’s transfer mode to Add or Screen when overlaying it on another video?

Take a look at the linear expression – this works as a range mapper, allowing one set of values to proportinally change another set.

I think you probably want to use the Corner Pin effect or the Bezier / Mesh warp effects.

Corner Pin is probably easiest as you just animate the corners of the layer.

I might be wrong, but I don’t think ExtendScript can format text. Another option as you’re using this in essential graphics might be to adjust the scale of the text or having multiple text layers at different scales whose opacity is controlled by the essential graphics properties.

This video has all the elements arranged in 3D space. The creator has made a strip for the line and I’m guessing here, but has set that timeline to use another layer as it’s matte source – probably parented to the camera. As the camera moves, the matte layer moves with it exposing more of the timeline.

With all the other elements also in 3D space, they appear in frame as the camera moves passed them

Did you use the included Immersive tools to create this? I’m sure there’s one in there which “unconverts” spherical video.
