How to Create This Timeline Effect – Workflow
I’ve been wanting to do a timeline video very similar to this https://youtu.be/axqWwkku0RM however it’s been a few years since I’ve tackled After Effects and would love if anyone had some insight as to the workflow.
I have AE, Premiere, and Photoshop but don’t know where to start and use these programs in sync.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and apologies if I’m on the wrong forum.

This video has all the elements arranged in 3D space. The creator has made a strip for the line and I’m guessing here, but has set that timeline to use another layer as it’s matte source – probably parented to the camera. As the camera moves, the matte layer moves with it exposing more of the timeline.
With all the other elements also in 3D space, they appear in frame as the camera moves passed them
