The AC3 encoding is included when you install DVD Architect.

When you save your project (.veg file) there is a check box at the bottom of the Save As Dialog to ‘copy and trim media with project’.

You need both a PAL mpeg file and to set the project properties in DVDA to PAL.

However, it is not desirable to recompress your NTSC mpeg to make a PAL version of it. Go back to the original project where you created your NTSC mpeg and render it as PAL instead.

When you solo a video track, the other video tracks are turned off. Solo is indicated by the exclamation point button on the right side of the track header.

To confuse matters a bit, multiple tracks can be soloed at the same time.

Vegas has full integration of mxf for working with XDCam files for instance.
