Vegas in an OMF or MXF environment?
Hi all-
I’m new to the forum, just to get that out of the way. Was wondering if anybody has had experience integrating Vegas into an OMF or MXF environment? Can Vegas 7 import or export in any fashion OMF or MXF product? I don’t see it listed on the official website as supported formats, but maybe somebody here is related to McGuyver.

Vegas has full integration of mxf for working with XDCam files for instance.

Yes, but how is it with exchanging with other NLEs/Sound programs? In terms of OMF, EDL, etc….

Vegas handles both EDL and AFF for inter-application compatability.
