  • Could not view track above or below track motion

Posted by Dave Petteruto on April 25, 2007 at 4:09 pm

I scaled/cropped down a series of video events on a track using track motion (vegas 7). When I added a new video track above or below that particular track the newly added tracks were grey colored and the event that I placed on those new tracks was not visible in my preview. The tracks did not appear to be muted. Why is this?

    Thanks
    Dave P.

I’d have to see the VEG file. Hard to say without seeing what you’re seeing.

Due to your response it sounds like if I’m using track motion on a single track, that track should have no affect to any tracks above or below. Would this be correct? How do I show you a .veg file?

    Thanks for the help.

But is the other track soloed?

Since we are on the “Creative Calf” basics forum you will need to explain what you mean by:
But is the other track soloed?
    Sorry, but I’m learning!

    Thanks

When you solo a video track, the other video tracks are turned off. Solo is indicated by the exclamation point button on the right side of the track header.

To confuse matters a bit, multiple tracks can be soloed at the same time.
