Where did you purchase from? Canon website says not available until April.

1. Open Grab (located in /Applications/Utilities).
2. Choose Capture > Screen.
3. When the Screen Grab dialog opens, click outside that window. -

You mean professional cameras with HDMI. Because there are plenty of prosumer cameras with HMDI out.

Yes, Steve is right. At least read a book about video production and producing before you start. Get the nomenclature right so your posts on forums like this will be easier for us to answer and a better experience for you.

Even if you had a hardware encoder it would take two hours. Compressor says 1.5x, pretty good. Have you tried adjusting your compressor settings to CBR of 5.0 and see if that helps.

I use my Cinewave as a back up. OS X.3.6 and FCP 4.5. Still works great. A Quad and LHe is my main system.
