    …urgently:

1.- prepare DVD with architect using original 6.2Gig files….
2.- use DVD shrink to “fit” the prepared DVD to required size (I know many don´t like it, but it works……).
3.- burn new DVD files with nero, etc. …done.

    kind regards

  • I have 4 GB of RAM and Vegas 8C shows only 1024 … maybe Vegas 8.1 on 64 bits will be different ???

  • …you can also try dragging the start-slider (green one) on the DVDarch timeline of your menu-video where you want your text button appears… although I think next time the menu loops, will start from your new mark (and not from the very beginning…) … maybe just another option to explore…

    good luck

1.- apply maximum speed to clip and render to AVI
2.- put your “speedy” AVI on Vegas and apply required speed again …..
3.- re-render to AVI, and so on ….

October 17, 2008 at 3:27 pm in reply to: Problem Editing VOB Files on v.7

Altough every new Vegas version is better in this issue, I’ve used DVD2AVI with VFAPI plugin-codec to “wrap” as AVI some VOBs that Vegas doesn´t want to open correctly… it is a freeware tool and the conversion to AVI is very fast…. maybe VASST gearshift also can help but I’m not sure…

October 16, 2008 at 3:29 pm in reply to: Best Way To Hook Up External Monitor

… I was thinking on the new one (Decklink HD extreme)…

    this is from their site:

The new DeckLink HD Extreme is the most advanced capture card ever built. The new DeckLink HD Extreme includes all the powerful features of the previous model, but now adds HDMI capture and playback, plus new 3 Gb/s SDI support, and 3D lookup tables. Now you get all the power of film and high definition editing, at a standard definition price of only US$995!

    kind regards
