    …mmm I have already 2 working monitors and yes, I’ve tried one of them for previewing but I’m not very happy with the result (NOT real time frames/sec) … and as far as I know, there isn’t yet full support from Blackmagic cards with Vegas … AJA I don`t have an idea….

    …found myself “HDV split” freeware capture utility …. problem solved… no splitting clips (if I don´t want..) … bad points to Sony Vegas ….

    I suppose the basic workflow to SD-DVD in Vegas would be:

    1.- Ingest or “capture” HD clips (don´t know right exactly how right now about this, until I have the camera) maybe just copy the clips from the camera or card, or maybe using some Sony transfer-software or even Cineform…

    2.- Edit with an HD timeline in Vegas 8 (as working with HDV)

    3.- Render video in Vegas to mpeg2, DVD architect NTSC widescreen template ???

    is that simple ??
