Thanks Guys ive downloaded the trial version to test before i buy, i have exported edit as aaf from avid it opens fine in Premier im really just trying to get more time working in avid as my next gig is on Avid. Cheers

try this
1, turn on your vectorscope HLS
2. go to effects put the fast color corrector onto your clip, it may say obsolete in premier but its not.
3, on your clip make a mask around the orange skin like a small triangle
4. look at your vectroscope the line should be between the yellow and the red, to do this shift the hue angle on the fast color corrector, so the line is on the yellow and red.
5, turn off your mask and see what your skin tone looks like. may slightly adjust other images

but the bride wont look like a umpa lumpa

A quick an dirty way use screen capture software like snagit play your video and use snagit to record the video?

Where is your media stored is it on an external drive ? is the drive fast? try putting a few clips that are having issues ie spinning etc onto your main drive and see if the playback is any better? You could go old school and downconvert everything to pal 720 x 576 or even smaller do an offline then reconform to online bit like the proxies i suppose.

I loved FCP 7 but sometimes its time to call it a day and try something new. Good luck.

I have not used good old FCP7 in a long time, but what you could do is duplicate your video layers use the mask shape on the top layer select oval as your shape move this over the face you want to blur add a blur filter gaussian will do. Try this

BINGO, Thank you so much Thiago i thought i tried every mode, i had the yellow on top of the red, stupid me never thought to switch around, job done. cheers

Yea ive tried that, problem is it changes the whole color ill have to try andys matte suggestion.

see attached logo mastercard logo. So i will have two balls bounce in red and yellow which makes orange i wish i could tell after effects this, unless im missing something simple, then they will make the logo.
