I think you could pull this off, or a pretty similar effect in premier just duplicate your video layers move them forward and back a second or two or a few frames depending on delay effect you want, mess with the scale add some color effects then play with the blend layers. If you can get it, you could use the RSMB filter on some of the layers. Hope this helps

You could try and bake the pose morph tags ie right click on strength show track then function

Have you tried clicking on the weight tag you may be able to smooth it out a bit
