    after updating my mac os to catalina i opened my project and a load of clips are offline can even reconnect them or play them back vlc will play them back thats it.
    Quick time says the file isn’t compatible with quicktime player?
    Any ideas ? im running newest version of Premier?

    The Mac OS Catalina stops supporting many many QT file types. You’ll have to convert those to more edit-friendly formats now….with VLC.

    I know this is moot now, but the general rules for upgrading are:

    1) Never do it in the middle of a project, unless absolutely necessary.
    2) Research as much as you can about the upgrade, to see if it breaks anything your workflow relies on. Catalina has had many warnings posted all over about the halting of support for many QT formats.
