If you go to File – Optimize, you can set DVD Architect to create a progressive DVD.

If you go to File – Properties, how is the timeline set up? If it’s set to NTSC and you’re rendering to PAL, that could possibly cause some issues as well.

I’d first try installing Vegas 8.0b. If it still doesn’t work, you need to contact Sony tech support.

Why not just render the output of Bus A to a new file and put that on the track?

If you only use Track Motion for the positioning, you’re fine. It sounds like you’re doing it the correct way: Pan/Crop for zooming in to the desired area of the image and Track Motion to position the image.

You might try my Auto Save custom command for Vegas Pro 8 which can save a series of backups in another folder as well as the same folder as the project.

Yes you can. It would be helpful if both computers see it as the same drive letter.

Vegas 5/6/7/8 has video scopes (didn’t check 4). The “Movie Studio” versions may not include video scopes.

Instead of dragging the VOB file, instead do a File – Import – DVD Camcorder Disc to import from the DVD. That should correctly give you the full thing.
