.m2ts file feature unlock
Hey all
I was editing raw footage .m2ts files the other day and all was going fine. The next day I tried to do the exact same thing, but came up with an error message saying “An error occurred while opening one or more files. The requested plug-in does not have the necessary features unlocked”
I need to edit in .m2ts form, therefore I need to overcome this problem. Does anybody know how to fix this, or how to ‘unlock’ the necessary features of the plug-in?

what plug in are you using?

where did the footage come from, ie. canon?

I’m not sure what plug ins I’m using sorry.
I’m using Vegas 8a so I assume its the plug ins that work with that. Footage is coming directly from a Sony HDD Hi Def model.

I’d first try installing Vegas 8.0b. If it still doesn’t work, you need to contact Sony tech support.
